Meant to share this one from a few weeks ago... At pretty much any night sporting event (which is most of them), we have to find somewhere to either set up our laptops or keep them nearby to transmit photos from on deadline. With baseball, there's no large halftime or quarter breaks, but we need to transmit photos back for early editions before a game's over at 10 p.m. At Disney's complex, where the Rays have played a series the past few years, the only option has been this drainage well, stuff with groundskeeping equipment, television wires, and three photographers wondering why the ground's wet. How glamorous it is...
