01 30 2007 - Gerry Neal McIntyre, who was carjacked by alleged gunman Adrian Williams, sits on the sidewalk with injuries to his face after he was thrown to the ground in the attack Tuesday. "For some reason he [Williams] did what he did, and I was in the wrong place at the wrong time," said McIntyre after the attack. According to witnesses, Williams shot Mary A. Grayson at the same location he stole the car, then traveled about two blocks down W Spruce St where he drove into a house where his brother was playing dominoes. Williams, dressed in only boxers and socks, then shot himself in the head. Grayson and Williams were in critical condition Tuesday evening. BRIAN CASSELLA | Times
01 28 2007 - Andres Javage's red Ford Mustang was crushed by a block of ice that apparently fell from a passing airplane at around 9:10 a.m. Sunday while it was parked outside his Town 'N Country home. The cube of ice, about 18 inches wide, bounced the car three feet in the air and smashed roof and rear windshield. The house is in the flight path of planes landing at Tampa International Airport. Kowzun was visiting from Atlanta for the Tampa Am skateboarding competition at the Skatepark of Tampa, a well-known event that draws hundreds of skaters from around the world, but was the only one of them arrested for the activity while here.
